The mission on Nicht Ka had reached its end. Nighttime had brought a slight chill to things that the assembled Soulfire membership could feel even through their environmental suits.
“It’s done. The One Sith are clear from this sector. Good work, team.” Andrelious stated.
As usual, Arcona’s oldest Battleteam had completed their mission with minimal casualties. Aside from a few minor injuries, which had quickly been dealt with, the team had survived unscathed. Andrelious had been responsible for a large number of kills, but was likely to receive more praise for assisting his wife, Kooki, with accessing a locked door.
“Saskia. Please step forward,” the Soulfire Captain continued.
The Cirrian did as requested, wondering exactly what her father was doing.
“Saskia Ortega-Inahj, on behalf of the Consul of Clan Arcona, I have been authorised to declare you an Epis of the Krath Order. Congratulations on your promotion!” the ex-Imperial smiled.
The young woman’s jaw dropped open unceremoniously, before a string of Mando’a escaped her lips in disbelief. After a few seconds, she seized up and frowned, “You’re having me on…”
“I’ve been pushing for this since you came back to Soulfire. I look after my blood...” Andrelious replied, still smiling.
“So… dual lightsabers?” Saskia finally replied, the look of shock still on her youthful face.
“Dual lightsabers. Just let us get back home before you try to use them. I don’t want any accidents..”
The Fading Light III Vendetta came to an end a few days ago. Thanks to everyone’s efforts, Arcona took first place in this phase of Fading Light, and second overall!
Soulfire managed an average of nearly 2 events per member. To see such activity makes me very proud. Congratulations to all of you for helping contribute towards Arcona’s victory.
