Rollmaster's Report

Welcome back to another edition of the Rollmaster's Report, live from the Bugcave! As you can tell from the above, it's been a rather busy month around Plagueis. Lots of shinies going around, lots of new faces, it's a rather exciting time. Normally I'd mention all the new folks by name but, well, we have so many that , well, I don't want to make this wall of text any longer than it needs to be. So I'll just give one big shout out to the new crop of folks that arrived in the past month. Blame (or thank, your choice) our Fearless Leader for a fair number of these as he's brought in a boatload (APC load, since you're Army?) of new recruits. Taranrae also deserves recognition for the folks she's netted us. Good job.

I wanted to take this chance to key on that a bit. While blind recruitment might net us some good folks, a lot of best contributors come from direct referrals. What does this mean? If you aren't the only Star Wars geek you know, get some of your friends to come check us out. They don't have to be the best writers or artists (though that's a big bonus), they just have to contribute. Oh, and you might get the shiny out of it.

I also wanted to call attention to our gamers. As you see, there's quite a few people with a bunch of new CFs. What's interesting is that the bulk of them came from Diablo 3. Now, while this sort of game might not be everyone's cup of tea, we got plenty of folks that will show you the ropes and help you kill...whatever it is they kill in that game. And they don't even have lightsabers, the shame!

When I seemed lost on this, I thought about using the runner up from last month's report but, well, I decided to go a slightly different direction. I think this song says a lot about where we've come from and where we're going as a unit. Well, I slacked off and made you all do my YouTube trawling last month. This month, we get an old favorite of mine that's still on YouTube so many years later. Here's what happens if Art ever gets frisky
