Obelisk Battleplan
Battleplans may be submitted in either fictional or graphical formats. They can be given in paragraphs or point-form. Explain what your team is doing that will assure your victory in this scenario.
Scenario:
A 100m by 100m crater containing some interesting technology left by the pirate invaders has been located. A large dome has been set up around it so that the air is breathable and the temperature is bearable. A special investigation team from the Intelligence Division is on its way to examine and extract the equipment. They will arrive approximately 30 minutes from the start of the battle plan.
Your Clan has discovered the purpose to this technology. Despite your best efforts, another Clan has also acquired this knowledge. Both have sent Obelisk ground troops to secure the artifact.
Your Clan's forces stand upon the brink of the crater, looking down at the powerful technology of the invaders, when a shot from a blaster flies towards. Across the crater is the other Clan's retrieval team.
Describe how you will grab the equipment (two people will be required to Telekinesis it out, as you don't want to tamper with it accidentally), how you will fend off your enemies, and make sure that you describe the amount of time this all takes. You must be in and out within 30 minutes, but keep your movements (and the timing thereof) reasonable.
For the purpose of fairness, all troops involved are of the Dark Jedi Knight rank - on both teams.
Completed Battleplans should be submitted to [Log in to view e-mail addresses] and [Log in to view e-mail addresses]. One submission per email. House submissions will be accepted, but must be submitted by QUA/AED.

GFX 2: Design a banner or graphic that takes in some aspect of the second part of the plot.
Evil Mastermind Design: Who is the real mastermind behind the pirate incursion? What are his aims and goals? Put yourself in the place of a master-spy, sent out to determine the whereabouts, and identity of the crook. The more detail you can provide, the better.

Graphics should be in .jpg or .gif format and zipped prior to submission. Mastermind designs should be in .doc, .rtf, or .txt format - graphical content can be submitted and should be included in a zip file with your submission.
Due date: March 31st, 2003; 11.59pm EST
Lets keep working on these, ASK someone if your stuck, but i wanna see 100% partcicpation now that i have done my 'spring cleaning'. Phase 1 was a good show for us, now lets do it again!

Good week, alot more activity, thats what i like to see. :D
Ok people, like Waz pointed out, time to get the ball rolling with idea's for this battle plan. Send your idea's in over the House Mailing list. Just keep your idea's frank and to the point to minimise the need for questions. Once a good idea is found, we'll use it. Now remember some key factors here :-
ALL Jedi involved on both sides are of the DJK rank.
2 are needed to use telekenisis to move the equiptment out.
Forget phsychology!! I don't care who they are, but a way is needed to get the equiptment out and in our possesion.
My Point - Now some of you may want to think that these are unstoppable killing machines or whatever. I prefer to see them as equal beings of power and stature, and also prone to making mistakes. Now...someone hit on the idea of taking them with us.........WHY?
If Intel are coming to pick this stuff up in 30 mins, would'nt they be knee deep in crap if they were cought there also?? Why take them? Why not leave them to face the music?? Seems logical to me, we'd move quicker with empty hands, remember that. So it would be a 15 vs 15 scramble to get there first.
Ok, its a kind of standoff, why not 13 of us approach them in a respectful kinda way and say " why you shooting at us?? " - meanwhile the other 2 use thier telekentic powers and make off with the equiptment? We can always say that they can have it next anyway. Afterall....we're batting for the same team here....the DB.
Straight fight - 13 of us engage them in some good old dueling!! 2 can then make thier way to the equiptment. The idea being instead of killing them, just kick them to the ground unconcious and then make a break for it.
Like i said, its just meant to be a plan, not a fiction. So don't get muddled up here. A plan of extraction is all that is needed here. But do include times, eg - how it takes to get there, how long it takes to move out etc.

1)Things are picking up this week in theGreat War we have been given the objective of producing a battle plan for accquiring some artifacts, hit the above link for details. I hope you've read the mails bounceing along the house list; if you have an idea send it out. Come up with a plan of your own if you so have the inclanation & send it in also. More points the better.
2)We need to keep our training schedule running guys the Mp portion of the GJW is coming & we will be able to overwhelm them with our ability & active members so keep the jk1/jk2 rolling.
3)I feel we need some kind of pep talk here folks, we have seen alot happen in the past months with the culmination leading ot the GJW we have paired teh house down to the active people & we can win this & move up from the #2 house we can take the title of #1 House in all the brotherhood. I feel we can do this, & Iknow some of you have had run-in's with other clan members who cut us down & insult us we can pull together & make them eat their words & show them we are the best Obelsik house in the DJB I know we can do this lets rock the GJW!!!
