Props to Karel for pointing out the issue.
I've fixed the problems that resulted in a lack of automated mailing list subscriptions and unsubscriptions. The website will now properly email google groups a request whenever a person transfers to and from a unit.
CONSULS: Because of the lack of requests for whoever knows how long (I suspect about a month), you cannot rely on your mailing list to be reliable at this point. It's a good practice to do it once a month anyway, but right now you need to have someone make sure that your list has the correct members on it. Make sure they check both ways: 1) for people that have not subscribed and 2) for people that have not unsubscribed. DC members are generally on the lists as well. Be sure to check the house lists as well.

The mail from the DB server is coming in slow, is that because some maintenance was being done?
I'm not quite sure why that's happening. It's been going on for a few days. I just emailed support, so we'll see what they say.
